Hello,
Would like Cingular Pay As You Go service, but want a very nice (read:
expensive, quad-band, WAP, high-end) GSM phone I will keep a long time,
possibly to switch to a monthly plan later. The GoPhones are cheapies.
Since GSM uses SIMs I was under the impression I could buy any unlocked
GSM phone and use it with the Cingular GoPhone service SIM. Am I wrong?
Do I have to buy a "GoPhone" per se?
Thanks,
Kane

No. An unlocked phone with 850 and 1900 bands will work.
