GPRS in Houston = slooooooow. Other places?

averaging about 32 Kb/s ... the T62u is only GPRS 3+1, but was
expecting something above 45-50 Kb/s (when hooked up to a PC). That's
how fast it was with VZ (T-Mobile) in Houston...

Just curious (as a new GPRS user), what are some actual data
throughput rates w/ Cingular GPRS?

Each channel has a max of 13.4.  A 3 channel max is 40.2, with the
real world max (90%) being 36k.  How in the heck did you get 45-50k
ever?
