Need Cingular Subscriber to help me with SMS/MMS test

I would like to verify I have the correct SMS and MMS gateways for
Cingular.

SMS: @mobile.mycingular.com
MMS: @mms.mycingular.com

I'd like someone with Cingular to email me their cell phone number so
I can send a test SMS and test MMS picture. I will emal you back my
web site so that you know I have a need for doing this. I need to send
these off of the Cingular network; meaning I send them from my email
program and not from my cell phone since I am not a Cingular
subscriber.

No. Not at all. I'm trying to verify the correct Cingular Gateway for
my new web site business: www.wxnotice.com

I send out aviation weather reports to pilot cell phones and I'd like
to make sure I'm using the correct Cingular Gateway address.

With regard to Cingular (orange) accounts:

YOURNUMBER@CingularME.com sends an SMS text message to your phone (no
picture).

YOURNUMBER@Mobile.MyCingular.com sends an SMS text message to your phone (no
picture).

YOURNUMBER@MMS.MyCingular.com sends a picture message to the phone, with the
picture size reduced appropriately.

YOURNUMBER@MyCingular.com sends an email to your Cingular email, picture
delivered as sent, but can't be downloaded to the phone over WAP.*

YOURMEdiaID@CingularME.com sends an SMS text message to your phone (no
picture).

YOURMEdiaID@Mobile.MyCingular.com does not work.

YOURMEdiaID@MMS.MyCingular.com does not work.

YOURMEdiaID@MyCingular.com sends an email to your Cingular email, picture
delivered as sent, but can't be downloaded to the phone over WAP.*

* As tested with my unlocked Sony Ericsson Z600.

Wow - thanks John.

One of my pilots is having trouble receiving images from us to his
cell phone. He has service from SunCom.

We've been trying all sorts of gateways. SunCom customer service tells
me a different gateway every time I call them for help! I can
successfully SMS text message him using cellnumber@tms.suncom.com but
can't get a pic (weather image) to him using that for MMS. Do you know
anything about SunCom?

Have your Suncom customer use SunCom iNotes Plus Multimedia Messaging Service
to send a picture to your email address. The From (return) address may be
what you need.
