x497 side vol buttons

is there any trick to disable or lock the side volume buttons on the Samsung
SGH-X497? The buttons are a very soft touch and will silence the ringer when
put in a holster or if even the slightest accidental touch resulting in
missed calls. TIA Any undocumented tips/tricks for this phone?

Epoxy glue will probably do it. :)
