Hi,

I'm about to buy a zonenet dongle for my V551. I had the Zonet
ZUB6101C which I broke the usb connector off of by accident.
Anyway newegg lists four of the zonenet dongles..two of which
list 3Mbps baud throughput..two older models specify maximum
rates of 723Kbps. If the V551 supports a higher bluetooth
speed I'l buy the new dongles..else I'll get the old which with
rebates are now  about 10 bucks. I looked at the V551 page at
Motorola and could not locate these specifications so if anybody
here has a better idea of througput please speak up.

TIA.

I'm virtually certain it's not faster -- in my tests, Bluetooth transfers are
far less than the maximum.  I'd simply suggest you be sure to get a Bluetooth
1.1 (rather than 1.0) dongle (e.g., to minimize Wi-Fi interference).
