I have a Motorola v3. One of the things that maybe you can help me
with is why is it that the motorola's phone book is not like the
Nokia's. The Nokias phone book is sectioned off into sub categories
such as Friends, Work, Family, Business, Emergency, Medical and
others. I have heard of bios flashes. Can any one tell me how to
configure my Motorola v3 phone book in such a manner?

Motorola calls them "Categories." You can set whatever Categories you want,
and just display a given Category, or all Categories.
