Hi, I'm really leaning toward Cingular when my AT&T plan expires soon.
I like the rates, rollover minutes, and especially the $7 to start
nights at 7pm option. I want a camera phone, but I don't know about
the bulky Nokia 3600 with wierd dial that my local Cingular store
carries. I wasn't real impressed with the 616 (Sony?) either. My
friend is on Sprint and he has a Samsung VGA 1000 that's neat,
GSM/CDMA, and it has a VGA (640 x 480) camera (maybe flash, not not
sure). Could I use this on Cingular's GAIT plan, or at least GSM? The
Samsung also has an LCD on the back of the case when closed, I think
more fore info purposed, like to see who's calling without having to
open the phone up. If I do have to use the Nokia, what's the
difference between the 3600 and 3650? My local store carries the Nokia
3600. Is the 3650 better? TIA,
Dan

Get the 3600. It supports the 850 MHz band used by Cingular and AT&T (as
well as the 1900 MHz band). The 3650 is identical but it doesnt support
850.
Other options might be to get a camera accessory for a Siemens or Sony
Ericsson phone. I suspect that there might be more camera phones available
as the holiday selling season nears.
