WAP@cingular.com VS ISP@cingular.com

What is the difference between WAP@cingular.com and ISP@cingular.com?
Is there going to be a speed difference?  Why will either one logi
using a USB cable to my laptop, but only WAP will work when usin
Bluetooth to my laptop

Different data packages:
WAP@cingular.com = MEdia Net
ISP@cingular.com = Data Connect

Not raw speed, but Data Acceleration (e.g., higher image compression) is only
available on Data Connect.

Probably a configuration issue.  Both will work over either USB or Bluetooth.

I have data connect, not medianet, on my Treo, but it is set to WAP@cingular.

Then you are actually using MEdia Net.

the biggest difference is isp.cingular doesnt use a proxy server so you have
a ip address.
