Can someone tell me if by unlocking the phone you see a benefit? What added features do you get? Will my signal be better or stronger? I leave my D357 locked because I carry it in my pocket. Your signal doesn't get any better by unlocking your phone and the only feature that I know of is you can use your push to talk without unlocking it. I have had a lot of phone and this one by far is the best one I have had. Can you change any of the Firmware settings ? The only benefit of unlocking is that you can use another service providers SIM in your phone. In my case I want an unlocked phone so that when I travel outside the USA I can purchase a SIM from a local service provider and not pay roaming charges. |
