Problem transferring pictures from V551

My daughter has a Motorola V551 and she uses a Bluetooth USB Adapter to
transfer pictures from her phone to her laptop. She had been doing it
successfully for several months, but now for some reason she can't get it to
work. The computer seems to recognize the phone all right, but when she
tries to transfer the pictures she gets a message that says "FTP service was
not found on target device".

Anyone know what this means or how to fix it?
