I just switch to Cingular from T-Mobile. My new phone is a Sony Ericsson
Z520a, and I'm confused about the text message format.
I have a web script that emails a message to my phone
(##########@cingularme.com). However, when the message appears in the inbox
it always appears as a number like 1010100018. I would like to modify the
subject to be more relevant. Is this possible?
Also, is there a message size limit? Even short messages seem to be split in
two parts.
Thank for any help

SMS has a size limit of 160 characters including spaces.
As for the number showing up in the subject line there is nothing you
can do, because it's handled by the server on Cingular's side.
