Hi,

I just purchased an unlocked V3 (on the blue network) and i must have
a missed setting, i thought i had them all.

I can send messages fine, but receiving them, they are delayed up to
15 minutes.

I'm testing this back and forth on my wife's V551 and she's getting
them instantly on hers but when i send one from her phone to my new V3
it's not being received for about 15 minutes.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Mark

That's probably a Cingular problem, not a phone settings problem.

Is she on "blue" or "orange"?  If she's on "blue", try switching SIMs.

Yes, she's on the blue as well and i did as you described and
everything went fine.  Switched the sim cards back and everything
seems fine now as well.

My best guess is that the V3 was either getting used to the network,
the battery wasn't charged enough or it was fluke.

I think #2.

thanks for your help.
