No Cingular Coverage in West Illinois

Neither DeKalb IL nor Clinton IA nor I88 seem to have any bars.

There should at least be coverage on I88.
Does your phone have both 850 and 1900 bands?

 According to Nokia's web site, yes.

  Perhaps I was just unlucky and my phone was on the fritz those days.
Luckily it's working now that I'm back in California.
