I am currently trying to decide if I want to change to either Verizon
or Cingular, I borrow a couple of phone from people at work . One was
the nokia E62 and run a  speed test at performance.toast.net ther
result was 174kbps. The same test on the samsung pda from verizon was
460kbps. So I am wondering is the E62 not a 3g or do you have to add
the 3g service on Cingular or maybe you need a new SIM.

If you can help me clarify this issue I will really appreciate it .

Thanks

E62 is not 3G-only phones now are LG CU 320, or 500, or Samsung ZX10 or
20, and yes you do have to have a newer blue 3G sim...

I forgot to mention that , ironically the test was conducted less than
1 mile away from Cingular's Headquartets in Atlanta  :)
