With the Energy Preservation Act of 2005, which changed the dates of DST,
some devices may not change time correctly. Go to Cingular's site to see if
yours is on the list. My TREO had a fix that I was able to download and
apply. Here is a link to Cingular's page describing this.

Cingular sent me a text message to my 3125 and reminded me that I needed to
download the DST patch.

By and large this will only affect high-end smartphones and PDAs. Most
standard phones will get the correct time from the Cingular network
(assuming Cingular does the job correctly).

Cingular's page would actually link you to this same page if you were
looking for the Palm fix. I was trying to keep it general to assist with all
devices that may need updating. I only needed the Treo update myself.
