Been reading everything I could find about the cu500,,
found posts dated last yr about the 1gb limit on the sd card,,
also posts about a SOFTWARE upgrade due 1Q07 that would allow the 2GB card
to be used,,

So,, I picked up a cu500,, and a Sandisk 2gb card,,
figured I can wait until the SOFTWARE update is available...

I now read that there is no SOFTWARE upgrade,,,
that lg & cingular are conspiring to develop a new model cu500V that can use
the 2gb card...

This sucks,,, I can use the card in my camera,, and it was cheap,, but why
the new model???

a little pissed,, & confused???

MORAL:
Never, ever bet on a vaporware upgrade.
What you see is what you get.
