Nokia 6102i to Blackberry 8800 (SIM Card Compatibility?, Data Plans?)

I currently have the Nokia 6102i. I would like to upgrade to the
Blackberry 8800 but I don't really like the price of the BB data
plans. Is this unavoidable?

I would like to be able to switch my SIM card back and forth. Use the
Nokia in the evenings when I want a small phone. And use the BB during
the day when I need the all the business features. Will my current
Nokia SIM slip right into the BB?

Will I need to subscribe to different plans to make the BB work? I
currently have a shared plan of some kind with Unlimited MediaNet.

Does the email feature on the BB require something more than Unlimited
MediaNet?

I think BB has it's own proprietary plans. Maybe someone else can chime
in on this.
I have a Treo and I know that you can use the sim in another Cingular
phone. A friend of mine is using his Treo sim in a GoPhone.
I have unlimited MediaNet on my Treo, and I think plan prices are
cheaper than BB. I think BB is best when you have a company paying for
it, which is why I avoided it. Treo does everything I need well.

Same,  I have a Treo 750 which I use when I need a pda, I also have a
Motorola V3xx when I want to travel light, I swap the sims (3g sim) which I
swap between the both and use the pda connections for data on both.  No
problems whatsoever.

Thanks for the information. I have decided not to upgrade for now. I
will likely consider a Treo instead of the BB. Better yet, I'll wait
and keep watching the market. I personally think that every phone /
smartphone available right now comes with some fairly major
disappointments.
