For my Cingular 8525, I bought a Lexar 512MB from Circuit City. It has
worked fine.
I bought a Cingular Blackjack last Thursday, declining the Cingular 1GB
micro-SD at $79. Friday I bought a $29 Duane 1MB micro-SD from Target. It
wouldn't latch in the Blackjack so I returned it. The Lear would not latch
in the Blackjack.
When I took it to the Cingular store Saturday, a sales rep tried latching
her 1GB micro-SD. It wouldn't latch. They swapped Blackjacks.
Today I bought a $20 SanDisk 1 GB micro-SD form Staples for $20. It will not
latch.
Remembering the old adage:
"When it works, it's $79. When it doesn't work, it's $20"
or "Oats that have been .thru the horse are little cheaper".
Any Blackjack users using a brand other than Cingular?

The Blackjack takes a standard microSD card.

I have used different brands of microSD in the BJ with no problem. It was a
little tricky to get the card to latch but a fingernail seemed to work.

Apparently you found the solution about the same time as one of the local
Cing techies. He had longer fingernails than any of the other 8 employees.
Thanks.
Staples has been selling 1GB micro-SD cards for $20 this week.
