I bought a GoPhone from cingular.com in early March. When I got it,
it didn't work properly. I called and they said they'd send me a new
one and a return, prepaid shipping label. They said they would charge
me for the second phone but would refund my money when they got the
first phone back.
It took 6 weeks and 8 phone calls before I finally got the shipping
label. I sent the first phone back 3 weeks ago. No refund. When I
called they said they never got the phone and there's nothing they can
do. They asked for the tracking number. What tracking number I
said. They said there was one on the label. If there was I didn't
see it. When I mailed it I asked the Post Office if I could get a
delivery confirmation but they said I couldn't do that with a prepaid
shipping label.
So - I paid for two damned phones and only have one.
I even wrote to the CEO and they still refused to help me even though
they could see from the call record that I'd had so much trouble and
were SO apologetic.
The phone cost $42 which is way more than it's worth. Now it's
costing me $84 and I'm ready to scream.
Other that biting the bullet, is there anything else I can do?
Do you know if other cell services have something similar to
GoPhones? I'd love to take my business elsewhere.
thanks

Actually T-Mobile's pre paid service is better & cheaper.

I'd be gone in a second if they ever did that to me.
