I like the form-factor of this PalmOS phone, and I am wondering
if I can use it on the Cingular network. If I bought one of them,
1) Would it take my current phone's SIM chip?
2) If it accepts SIM chips (or even if it doesn't), will it
work with Cingular, as Cingular doesn't "officially" support
it?
Anyone know about this? I'd love to be able to use this phone.

No way -- that phone is CDMA, and Cingular is GSM and TDMA.

Highly unlikely, as it is an AMPS 800/CMDA phone (see
<http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?id=123>.)

Get Sprint PCS if you want to use this phone.

Great, 'cept 1) I've heard Sprint service is awful, and 2) I don't want
to lose my current phone number. #2 might be solved in November (if we're
lucky).
