I have not done it personally, but been trying to find the data to
use. From what I know Cingular does not charge you anything but
airtime. Waptunnel is free service. No one seems to have to code to
set it up though.

"ALTERNATIVE PORTS: waptunnel.com now supports alternative ports- 1200
for connectionless WAP requests and 1201 for connection-oriented
requests. Standard ports 9200 and 9201 are maintained as usual.
To configure your phone or emulator to work with waptunnel, simply type
in this WAP gateway address: 207.232.99.109"
I would assume you need to enter in your dialup ISP info, then put the
above wap gateway in with it and should work from there...but no idea
just a guess

There's no need for Waptunnel on AT&T Cingular, since the standard MEdia
service can be used to access the entire Internet.
