I've tried to access my AOL mail with my 6340i Nokia phone's browser, and I
get all the way to the point where they ask for my screen name, and, when
entered, a screen appears that tells me to go to KW:mobile, or go to
mobile.aol.co.uk ...that's right, BRITISH AOL, and register to use the mobile
mail service!! I got AOL mobile tech support on the phone, and the lady told me
that, for security reasons, access to AOL mobile mail with any Cingular phone
has been BANNED...but it's perfectly fine with Verizon, AT&T Wireless, Sprint
etc.etc.- has anyone else heard of this?
Let me also acknowledge my own glee and euphoria at finding this
newsgroup...I've read a bunch of it and I've learned more from this NG than
from ten of those incompetent, ambiguous, inept people you get when you dial
611...finally, no more agony when I have an problem...I have another source of
info!! Much thanks, Aaron Worley Aworley11896@aol.com

Sounds like yet another excellent reason to dump AOL and get a real ISP. ;)
