Thinking of switching to Cingular and purchasing the Siemens A56 or S56.
Any thoughts on either?  I mostly like it because it's so small.  I'd
appreciate any feedback you can share.

Thanks.

I've had the S56 for a few weeks now and love it.  Full of features and the
Bluetooth works perfect with my laptop.  Good battery life.  It is a very
small phone.

I have the A56 and while it is small, often I can barely hear the person on
the other end. I've got the volume cranked all the way up too.

I had the same problem with mine when I first bought it and then I played
with where I hold it and now I can hear perfectly well.  You have to hold it
a little lower on your ear than some brands.

Agreed.  What I found most annoying was that due to the size of the
phone it places the mic way up oon your cheek.  For this to work it
must be pretty sensitive and it is--to ALL sounds.  My callers were
always saying "what...huh...roll your windows up!"  They WERE up  :-)

A flip phone gives you small size and unfolds to useful length (albeit
at a thickness gain)
