Anyone have any advice as to if I should keep my current phone Nokia 8265 or
change to a Nokia 6340i, the only thing I'm really scared about in keeping
the 8265 is that when the rollout for GSM occurs in market and I finally
have to get a new phone I won't be able to have AMPS/TDMA backup in case
something goes wrong and with the 6340i  I can just but a new phone and
throw the SIM card in it and keep the 6340i in the glove box.

I definately love my GAIT phone, there isn't anywhere "YET" where I
haven't been able to make a call. But if you go with a GAIT phone I'd
get the S/E T62u. I have several friends who have the 6340i and it's got
alot of issues (S/W glitches, dropping calls, etc) I've got the T62u and
have no problems at all. I've got an S/E T616 for normal use, but if I'm
gonna be traveling and am unsure about coverage I stick my SIM in the
T62u and don't have to worry. I was a major NOKIA fan until the 3360
(mine was a major piece of ****!!) They have some Sweet phones
(3595,3600,6800) out now, but I'm still alittle gun-shy about them. good
luck on what ever you decide.
