Can someone tell me why I get the hourglass on my Samsung SGH X427, as if it
is reindexing,  for at least a minute or more when I push the Names button?

It only happens the first time I turn the phone on and push Names. If I
select the Names button again without turning the phone off, I get the
Search, etc. menu.
