I have a treo 600 and a nokia 7210 (unlocked) how do I get coverage in
thailand.  Roam from there???? Buy a card here in the US and hope it works?
Buy a Sim card in Thailand? Just forget the cell phone and use a calling
card?

What's so difficult?  Either roam on your present carrier or buy a
local prepaid SIM.  What other problem could you have?

Since your Nokia is unlocked, just buy a pre-paid sim in Thailand. You
can buy them anywhere. There are 7-11 stores on every block that sell
them. Using your Cingular SIM there will cost you about $1.99 per
minute.
