Anyone know where you could pick up a Cingular phone @ a discount? I've
checked eBay, but didn't find the one I was looking for - @ least not for
enough of a price difference. I'd trade mine in but I haven't had my
contract all that long.

I've got a working Nokia 3395 that I'd be willing to part with.
Unfortunately, the charger seems to have disappeared, so you'd need to
pick that up on eBay. Let me know if you're interested.

If you're interested, I could make it a Buy It Now auction eBay that's
private, and you could bid and win. Hey, feedback for both of us. :)

I appreciate the offer, but I'm actually looking for a color screen phone. I
love the new 3560 & it's polyphonic ring tones. Currently I have a Motorola
120t. I'm not all that excited with Motorola's now that I've owned one.

Heh, no worries. I'm just trying to get rid of this 3395. I'm sending my
v60i back to Cingular as part of my trade-in agreement to upgrade phones
to my T720.

The T720 seems to definitely be a good phone. I really like it so far.
Just my $0.02 USD.

Check craigslist.org if they have it in your city.

The Northern California craigslist.org usually has a lot
of Cingular GSM phones for sale, often almost new ones
from people who cancelled and paid the termination fee
(a recent report revealed that 19.5% of Cingular's
California customers cancelled service between 4 and

well right now, we're still on tdma. i'm guessing we're bound to change
pretty soon over to gsm. from different rumors i've heard. i loved my
motorola @ first, but the newer phones w/ the polyphonic ringtones are
awesome. besides most of the ringtones i've downloaded for my phone (from
the cingular website) have sucked. :( so i'm basically looking for a phone
w/ better ringtones. aside from my motorola's ringtones not quite being loud
enough, even on "loud" to hear when i'm @ work or driving.
