Just got my T68i from o2 - a big attraction was the email client. Now
it's looking like I can't use it over GPRS properly - not the end of
the world I guess.
However, I'm pretty mystified - I've synched my Outlook address book
(well, some of it - it took so long I had to cancel half way through),
but I can't see a way of calling up a contact to use their email
address in an email.
On my old Nokia 6210, I could just navigate to a contact, select 'send
email' from the menu and it would create me an SMS with the email
address at the beginning. Neat - even thought the email had to be sent
from a special account, in a 160 character SMS.
On the T68i I have to "Manage Contact", view the details, commit the
email address to memory, press "No" about 5 times to cancel, go to the
email client and type in the address I've (hopefully) remembered
correctly. And I even have to go via the "Insert Symbol" menu item to
get the "@" sign.
Does anyone know a better way to do this?

Spammers - I want your emails! The more spam you send to
this address, the more fodder my filter gets, thus keeping
my genuine address blissfully clear of your netritus. Real
people can send to my real name at the same domain.

Why not? If you have GPRS data (not just GPRS WAP), you should be able to use
pretty much any Internet email service.

How are you syncing? Sync over IR (how I do it) goes pretty fast.

You bet. In the To address field, move the joystick left, select phone book,
and navigate to your contact.
