T68 software upgarde??

Any one know where i can download new firmware for a T68. I currently have
firmware R1b which is very old.... Any ideas...

Good luck, I'm trying too ... Apparently you can get it from a site that was
posted on this group, so search.

I take it you have the necessary hardware to flash the phone?  Firmware
sites tend to get shut down very quickly due to hosting copywrite software,
but there are still a couple listed on Google.  Be careful if you're doing
it yourself, it's all too easy to break it - 50% of our business comes from
bad flash repairs.

Yes, because they don't tell you which file(s) to flash, and you have a
pretty good chance of flashing it with the wrong file.

don't know who you mean by 'they' but the people at
www.omega-networks.net do tell you, in fact you fill in an on line
form which asks you info about your phone (read from behind the
battery) and they *send* you the firmware update that's suitable for
the phone.

I'd never done it (firmware upgrade) before but found it pretty
straightforward, the on line help was crystal clear.
