I was under the impression that if I had the 'Accept incoming calls'
option on the GPRS accounts on my T610 set to 'Automatic' rather than
'GPRS only', I would receive voice calls even when I was in the middle
of a GPRS session.
Not so! (This is on the Orange UK network.) If I happen to be
downloading a WAP page, or accessing my POP3 server, the incoming call
gets diverted to the Orange Answerphone instead. Calls do come
through, however, if I'm connected to GPRS and have the WAP browser
open, but no page is currently being downloaded.
Is this as it should be? I do seem to remember reading somewhere that
I should be able to expect to receive voice calls regardless of what
was going on on the GPRS connection. Is it perhaps an Orange-specific
issue?
TIA.
