Anybody have any idea why O2 seem to have dropped the Z600 from their
range? I was going to swap from Orange to O2 with my existing number and
get the Z600 but it seems to have disappeared from the site.

Is it just out of stock? Their phones are off 'till Monday.

I don't know, but I recently upgraded (3-4 weeks) my T39 to Z600 for ?59
with O2.

Maybe they're trying to shift stock for Christmas and something better came
along.

NB I had a similar isssue with my wife's old T28 - 2 years ago I went to
upgrade it for a T66 & the price was ?29.99.

Just before Christmas (November) we managed to find one at CPW and at the
till they said "no charge". It was the last on in the shop.

Even better the following week a cheque for ?29.99 turned up to refund the
upgrade fee.

New T66's then disappeared from the planet.

There is a new firmware for the Z600 and as a result "most" retailers
were holding back until new phones were delivered with this "upgrade"!
