When I send jpgs that i have custome sized to fit the T610's screen .via
Bluetooth ... they don't appear when the get there ( on the phone )...they
just look like a red cross icon...!

Any pics I send from the phone to the PC work fine....and same when I send
those pics ( that I took with the T610 camera ) back to the T610....BUT no
other pics work !!!

Anyone know what's wrong here ?

Cheers,

they should be sent as either gif or jpg.  once on phone it will
either show straight a way or leave it a while then try it.  if not
there must be a problem with the transfer, try infra red and see if it
fails with this too then there maybe a problem with the picture
itself.  otherwise it might be the connection.

make sure u use exactly the right size and bitdepth - one way to guarantee
this might be to copy a photo that the phone has produced and simply re-edit
it to fit your needs before re-uploading - works for me...

yep...thanks...did that..and it works...I found that "gif"s seem to be more
successful than jpgs for some reason too...

Hi-Soft - typed:

I use SE Image Editor that came on my bundled CD. It only d/ls, upload
is by file transfer. It needs the SE Phone Monitor s/w to run, has
rudimentary editing & obviously will crop to the correct aspect ratio
then optimise the file which can also be copied to a folder for re-use.
Jpg file sizes are smaller than gifs - no external memory cards for this
phone, unfortunately.
