Can anyone assist please. My Ericsson R520m has gone dead. It worked
fine day before yesterday but now nothing, a completely blank screen.
Tried charging it overnight, no luck. Also tested battery with volt
meter, seems okay. No flashing light either to say charging.
Ericsson tell me it cannot be fixed as it is two years old, no spares
available.

Expansys has plenty.at $69.92 USD or 55 quid UK  www.expansys.com select
proper country. They are also all over EBAY. I got one new in the box for
$21.50 and $8.95 shipping. (Obviously lucky, don't expect a repeat but you
never know)

Thanks for the info. I will check them out. Suppose this means that
they cannot be repaired.

Can you get your hands on another battery, just to check? If it was kaput
(although this seems unlikely from what you have said), then no "charging"
message would be displayed...

If it is really broken, you can still buy new ones, unlocked, on eBay
for about 60USD.
