Hi there,

When my phone synchronizes with my computer it only shares contacts and
not e-mails or other information. Why is this?

Is it because I'm using Windows XP with Outlook Express 6?

Many thanks.

Change to Outlook - indeed that's your 'issue'.

Right click the P800 icon in your system tray and hit properties, you
can select what does and doesn't get synchronised. You've probably set
it up that way.

Nah, I've checked that already. Thanks though.

I have recently started using a SE P800 on the Fido system. I have no
difficulty sending and receiving SMS and receiving email from my  @fido.ca
account.  However I am unable to successfully send out any email or to
receive email from any of my third party pop mail servers.  My understanding
is that the P800 can handle multiple email accounts just like Outlook or OE
on a desktop or laptop.

With my previous phone - Motorola timeport 280 - I had no trouble both
sending and receiving email, but of course that phone only handled the Fido
email accounts.

If there are special settings where can I obtain these.
