True, it's only in the U.S. and Canada and in some asian countries that they
have 110V, I think. When I visited Montreal a couple of months ago, the
charger I brought with me from Sweden was not able to charge my T39m, since
it ranged from 230-240V, so I had to by a new one on site. It was not that
expensive, though, about 20 USD, I think it was for an original CST-13
SonyEricsson charger. Ironically, that one ranged from 100 to 240 volts, 150
mA, 50-60 Hz.

Oh right for some crazy reason I thought it was 110
So that means that I can pretty much bring most of my NZ small appliances
over (phone charger, some DC and AC adapters I have) and they should all run
in the UK fine as long as I have those plug-shape adapters??

What shape is your plug? I had a vague feeling that the NZ plug was similar
to the UK one. Check google before you buy any adapters
