I'm starting to get regular 'your P800 is low on storage space' errors
- which all good P800ers know, lead to a corrupt internal memory and a
reformat. Basically, it corrupted 10 days ago, so I restored from a
recent backup - however, I suspect the seed of this problem is still
in the backup, so that even if I restore it, it'll again just be a
matter of time before it corrupts again...
Also - ISTR someone mentioning Tracker2 (which I have) causing these
problems - is this definitely known?
Anyway - I assume there's some file corruption going on which is
eating up this free disc space (I do have a lot of apps, but mostly on
the 128Mb MemoryStick). Tracker currently reports 400k internal memory
free. Does anyone know of a problem that effectively does a 'scandisk'
on the internal memory?
Damian
BTW - I had a similar problem on the MS too - copying off,
reformatting, and copying back on my data took it from 10Mb free to
100Mb free. Not so easy on the Internal disc due to the system files.
