Can anyone say they are NOT having the following problems when using Outlook
2003 with a Sony-Ericsson phone that syncs with Outlook?
In my experience, Outlook 2003 adds 1 to the beginning of every phone number
IF you enter the phone number by clicking on one of the buttons beneath
Phone Numbers, where it then pops up a dialog box asking for area code,
local number and extension.
So any number transferred to the phone has a 1 in front of it, and AT&T
rejects the call.
Worse yet, if I enter anything in the extension field this is added to the
number, too, once it gets to the phone.
Any number with an extension retains the extension as part of the number.
I.e., 214-555-1212, ext. 987, once transferred to the phone is:
12145551212987.
Numbers like 12145551212, much less 12145551212987 (the extension's been
added) cause AT&T to intercept the outgoing call and say it's in error.

Cant say I have used outlook 2003, but you might want to try float's mobile
agent and edit your contacts from there. You can also do a lot more stuff
with it too!

Are you sure it's not adding a "1" because of the US ISD code ? It puts 61
(as it's supposed) to for me in Australia. My phone numbers look like
+61 x xxxx xxxx and the SE Z-600 dials them properly.

I am using Outlook 2003 and have had no problems at all - honestly!
Using a P800 with latest firmware.
