Hello Group,

just yesterday my P800 failed to turn off, it would not recognize the
power button. Therefore I removed the battery, thinking about a lockup.
Upon reinserting the battery, the P800 would still not recognize the
power button, so now it cannot be turned on anymore, no matter how long
or hard I press. Putting it in its cradle does not do anything as well,
no indication of charging. It is not that the phone (ever) faced any
abuse, it just sat there on the table and stopped working.

What to do? Do you have any ideas? This is already my second P800 after
the first one was replaced for being faulty all over, I am getting
rather sick of it.
Did anyone get SE to replace a faulty phone with an entirely different
model?

Regards of where you bought it if it's less than a year old you can have
it replaced (assuming you have the packing and accessories that came
with it)

It is still unter warranty, but I will try and have it replaced with a
P900 via SE. I have neither the time nor the desire to replace and
reinstall my phone every three weeks (current P800 is only three weeks
old).
