Hello all

I've just got a BT250 headset and I'm having a problem with it when
paired to my Z600 (it works fine with my Nokia 6310i).

The problem is that the headset seems to have it's speaker & mic
disabled until I actually make or receive a call.

For instance, if I've got keytones turned on, I don't hear them in the
headset.  I don't hear voice prompts on the headset, I can't record
any via the headset either.  Also voice answer/reject won't work.

I've tried pairing in both normal and enhanced mode with no apparent
difference.

The really annoying bit is that It DID work for a while and stopped.

Has anyone got one of theses working reliably with a Z600?

Thanks

Steven

don't know about the keytone sounds. but to record voice commands,
make sure you're in enchaned mode and it's connected (go to my
handsfree and press connect) also that it's not in powersave mode (in
the options section).

When you're on the phone and you pick a voice command to record, press
the talk buton on the bt250, it'll beep and on the phone will probably
save it and ask if it's ok to save.. say no and it'll let you
re-record that's when it'll connect and you can then record via the
bt250.

I've yet been able to get magic word or voice answer /reject via the
bt250 and z600 yet. there's no real guide or feature compatibility
list for the z600/t610/t616 and the bt200/bt250 sucks.

Thanks for the quick reply, see below....

Yes, done that. did it again just incase.

This bit won't work, if I press the talk button on the BT250 it
switches to voice dial mode and expects me to tell it who to dial. If
I leave this to fail, I still don't herar the voice promps down the
headset.

I've personally been playing with the profiles and voice command
options and etc..etc.. takes certain optiosn to be enabled and my
suggestion would then work, but voice answer never works for me. Heck
i read somewhere that in "environments" there should be "bluetooth" to
tick.. toook me another hour of playing around to finnaly have that
option to pop up that but still doesn't work.

Anyways. why isn't there a guide of some sort to get this thing to
work. i'm tired with it also.
