hi, i have a t300 that was my sons but he has upgraded to a different model.
the problem im having is the phone wont accept any other sim cards even
though they were on the same network. how can i get this phone to accept a
vodafone sim card apart from the original that came with the phone? thanks
in advance for any advice.

In the UK, Vodafone GID1 lock thier PAYG handsets. This means that a
Vodafone contract SIM won't work in a Vodafone PAYG handset, is this what's
causing your problem? If so then someone like Jon at

You can check if the SIM lock is on by selecting "Settings > Locks > SIM
lock" (MENU-5-6-1). If it says "On", ask your son for the SIM lock code.
