Hi,

I just bought a P900. I upgraded (using the online tool) to Organiser
soft version R4B03. Only problem is that the resulting configuration
gives UK English only as language option. I used to have Swedish, US
English and French available. Going to the "language configurator" tool
in the PC Suite, no relevant language files appears to be available?

Any idea?

Cheers,

mh

Did You compare 16200x/x as mentioned? This file is language- and
provider-dependant, here in germany (with my p900) i got the right languages
with 162003/3, where 3/ seems to be "provider-free" and /3 the package with
german language...

I did: CDA162003/8 (where /8 presumably means France?). Maybe my best
bet would be to re-iterate the upgrade procedure?

Re-iteration done, still only UK English available. And still no
relevant language files available on the Net..

Many thanks. I'll dig further to understand what /8 might mean ;)

Maybe if You manually enter 162003/1 on the update-site when asked to, You
might get a compilation with Swedish, when switching on for the first time
You can choose the language...

Yes, might be worth a try.

Sorry for buttin' in - may I ask: how would I get US English loaded?
Currently only choice for UK English (/3) , would like US English.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.....

I talked to Ericsson HQ. The language files are not yet available,
appears not even internally. However, Service Centers may fix the
problem -- using some other type of bundle. Seems we could expect
language files sometime in May.

Cheers,

Thanks - at least I know that I'm not 'missing' something.
Much appreciated....

The required language files are -- according to Ericsson support -- not
yet available on-line. They won't be until May 2004.

Hrm,.. someone has the .zip archive of language files R4B03 on disk. I'd
be more than happy to get a copy (saving me to pass by a service point).

Cheers,
