to use for the internet. you will need some sort of a data plan for your
phone, because you will have to tap off of that to surf the net. once
you do, google search the provider's settings.
as for contacts, sending a V-card should be straightforward. does the
phone even acknowledge receipt of the card? if not, you are not passing
any info between the two devices.

Hi, and thank you for answering.
I did buy a data plan. When I use the iPAQ to set up that connection, it
doesn't ask me for more than a phone number, user name and password. I know
I must be missing something, and am going to go check out the provider
website to see what glaringly simple step I am missing.
