P900 MP3 ringtone problem

I wish to use an MP3 i copied across to my phone as a ringtone. The problem
I have is this;

I need the MP3 to be on a loop playback. However it defaults to putting a
second or so gap inbetween each "ring". How can I change this ? Some of the
built-in ringtones seem to be on loop.

Is there any gap in the MP3 itself?
