I "ve been using the T630 and really like the phone. The battery life was
supposed to be outsatnding!!
Mine is not even lasting a half a day. I'm not using bluetooth and I have
let  it die and recharged a few times.
Is there anyone who knows a setting? Could I have bum battery? Or is the
battery life just.  Any extended batteries offered?
Thanks,
Jfo

This is definitely not normal unless you are running the camera or playing
games more or less continuously for a half-day. Does the screen backilght
switch off after a short period of non-use? If not, there is a menu option
to make sure it does.

Make sure you don't have Bluetooth or the infrared port enabled. Could
be the reason for low battery life. If this is not the case, see your
vendor, he should exchange the battery immediately. Get a new one.

For your information, my bluetooth is always on and I use it 5 to 10 times a
day and the battery life is about 3 days. Therefore, even with the bluetooth
enabled, half a day life is not a normal condition.

I have a T610 and if I enable Bluetooth AND connect to Float's Mobile
Agent (fma.sourceforge.net) and keep it connected through the day, the
battery is almost empty in the evening, so active Bluetooth
definitively has an impact on battery life.

Same goes to backlight and/or playing games on the phone.

Under normal conditions the battery will last about a week.

If you don't do any of the above and the battery runs dry after half a
day, get the phone (ot just the battery) exchanged.
