Not to be defeated I ordered a replacement LCD for my T630 (after returning
the house brick that was a P900) and I thought I might share the experience
of changing this component.
1. Remove the battery.
2. Remove the silvered plastic camera lens housing.
3. Realise you haven't got a torx screwdriver.
4. Put it all back together again and go and buy one.
5. Start again and undo the two screws at the bottom of the phone.
6. Spend the next 2 hours in a sweaty frenzy trying to remove the top cover
portion.
7. Regret you ever started this.
8. Click off the antenna pcb.
9. Undo the two remaining screws.
10. Pull the unit apart.
11. Detach the small piece of white tape over the LCD connector.
12. Don't realise that the LCD ribbon is held in place by a securing lever
and pull it out unecessarily firmly.
13. Still don't realise this and spend the next 2 hours in another sweaty
frenzy trying to insert the ribbon into what is, effectively, a closed hole.
14. Eventually force it in coming dangerously close to ruining the new
component.
15. Re-assemble and realise that the on/off switch has dropped out.
16. Repeat steps 1 to 14 this time replacing the switch.
17. Re-assemble, switch on and stare at blank screen.
18. Repeat steps 1 to 11 this time lifting up the securing lever - insert
the ribbon properly.
20. Re-assemble, switch on and stare at blank screen. Repeat steps 1 to 11
(by now extremely pissed off).
21. Snap off the securing lever, swear a great deal, shove the bloody cable
in.
22. Re-assemble, switch on and hope for the best.
23. It works!
24. Find small piece of white tape on floor.
25. Repeat whole bloody process.
I've now got my T630 back!

I ordered it from these guys - http://www.globalmob.com - very speedy
service too and seemed reasonable at $44.99, I was very impressed.
