P900 and IMAPS or POP3S

Hello everybody

Any ideas how to configure the P900 mail client to check email over
POP3S (Pop3 secure / over SSL) or IMAPS.

I tried several configurations without success...
There's a secure option ; but it doesn't seem to make any difference
whatsoever.

Any help would be appreciated ; for security reasons our office doesn't
allow standard POP3/IMAP (e.g. no cleartext password)

Hi, i think P900 setup is similar to that of p800. IMAPs works with opening
a socket on IMAP (TCP/143) and then executes STARTLS keyword to get a secure
connection going. It doesnt open a connection to tcp/993 (IMAPS) port.

So u may have to discuss with ur office folks to open IMAP access and
restrict it to STARTTLS keyword only.
