Installing Java application in P900

I don't know if my question has already been answered several times in
this forum but I just bought a P900 and due to my working for many
years with a Psion 5 and 5mx I am not yet sure how to handle my P900.

There are several Java applications available on the web and there are
stated to be written with J2ME...
However they are not delivered with an installation file but usually
with the jar and jad files zipped into one.
Several applications that run on the Psion (either Epoc/Symbian OS 5.0
or 3.0) can just be copied in a folder under System/App/"name of the
application as requested by the procedure" and its icon comes up,
ready to be launched....

Does somebody how it works with the P900?

Well, well... I got the nswer by myself... I checked the procedure on
how to install a paying software written in Java and it seems far
simpler than expected

Basically it suffices to launch from the PC-Suite, <install software>
search for the .jar file to install and that's it

Compare to the Psion it is simpler even though less ... free.
In a way it is a secure way. It sounds a bit like the passage of W2000
to XP where many possibilities to tweak the system are locked to most
of users.

Nevertheless I like Symbian UIQ as much Epoc/Symbian 5.0 but I cannot
say the same for XP. I am far more at my ease in W2000
