Hi
Does anyone know if there is a way to change the network ID
Display......right now mine reads, "Roger's AT&T" in huge letters.....it
nearly takes up 1/4 of the screen and I hate it....
Also when my phone is on for a while ( just over 2 minutes ), a digital
clock display comes on....is there anyway to change it so that it is only
the screen saver? If not is it because a screen saver would use up to much
battery? If that is so....then why the screen saver at all?
I have extra sim cards with my phone....what are they for?
Thank you
You will have to remove nospam from my email address to reply with an email
( I put nospam before and after the @ sign to stop spam)

Nope, it's there to stay.

You can't get rid of the clock either.

Ask your network provider.

there is no real way to change that. you can hide the network id by
making a theme which hides the txt in the background (change color).
btw, the theme "none" will allow the phone to put your profile name in
the display.

Nope.. it gets that from the provider your using, and some say its also on
the sim card.

I guess the screensaver would be an easy way of telling if the phone keypad
is locked (if you use the option).. eather way if you want to walk around
with a screensaver, you can go to my pictures and start the picture up
manualy (then the clock wont kick in) and set it for the backlight always
on.. that way you can walk around with a smile or something moving around,
lol.

I dunno why you got extra ones.

Yeah, it's kind of stupid. The screen saver makes a rather brief
appearance.

Keep em. You should have only gotten one, but if they gave you an extra
hang on to it. In the odd event that you ever need a replacement (in theory
you wouldn't), they will probably charge you some ridiculous amount for it.
