Why bother ? ... you can get a real leather phone pouch designed for the
t610/t630 for the same price, and this protects the whole phone not
just the screen.

Michael,

Thanks for the comment.  I am simply offering people an alternative.
Not everyone wants to ruin their T610/630's great looks with a bland
leather case.  This just offers protection to the most important and
most likely spot to get scratched, without having to give up some
styling.

Some of us would rather preserve the phone's entire case, screen, and
keypad from dirt, scratches, knocks etc, Especially as the SE t610/t630
does NOT have easilly changeable inexpensive Xpress-on covers. Also a good
leather pouch WILL protect the phone a lot better if where to be dropped
on the floor.

However I can understand the use of screen-protectors, for items like
Pocket PCs, Palms, etc, with their very easily damaged *touch-sensitive*
screens. Damage the screen on one of these, and it usually writes the PDA
off.

Anyway as they say, 'horses for courses'.
