yes the phone is paired with the laptop. It is just the sync that is
not working. I have installed Float's Mobile Agent in the meantime and
it works great. Still dont understand why SE software wont work on a
SONY notebook tho.

That's bizarre then, coz I just reinstalled my T610 software and XTND works
fine with my Outlook.
Though I had to tweak my BT driver so that the Bluetooth serial port was
assigned to the correct COM port as the SE Phone Monitor.

It will probably be a user problem :) Ususally to do with the serail port
setting assigned to XTDConnect, see the Contol panel section of windows
and reserve a serial port for XTDCOnnect. Solved my problems.
